The Roman Catholic Church in the Central African Republic is part of the worldwide Roman Catholic Church, under the spiritual leadership of the Pope and curia in Rome.
There are just under 900,000 Catholics in the country which represents about a quarter of the total population. There are nine dioceses including one archdiocese:
