Rosa M. Parks Middle School is a public school for students in grades 6, 7 and 8 located in Olney, an unincorporated area in Montgomery County, Maryland.
Rosa Parks Middle School is a part of the Montgomery County Public Schools district. The school's namesake is civil rights activist Rosa Parks. RPMS is one of the two middle schools in the Sherwood Cluster where students, after graduating, attend Sherwood High School. Rosa Parks draws students from Belmont, Greenwood and Olney Elementary Schools.
Rosa Parks has been voted Best Middle School by Montgomery County for 14 consecutive years.[citation needed] Rosa Parks also has a award-winning softball team, basketball team, soccer team & poms squad.

The student body of Rosa Parks Middle School, as of 2005–2006, consists of 49.6% female and 50.4% male. The racial and ethnic composition is 71.7% white, 11.2% African American, 9.2% Asian, 7.8% Hispanic, and 0.2% American Indian.[1]
