Roundthorn Metrolink station

Roundthorn Metrolink station is a future station proposed in Phase 3b of the Manchester Metrolink. The station is scheduled to open in 2016[1] and will be located on the Airport line in between Southmoor Road and Roundthorn Road[2]. The station is also located next to the Roundthorn Industrial Estate and is the closest Metrolink station to Wythenshawe Hospital.

Trams are scheduled to run along the Airport line towards Manchester Piccadilly station northbound and towards Manchester Airport southbound. Trams will run every 12 minutes[1].
