Route 122 is a southeast-northwest state highway in Massachusetts that is a continuation of RI Route 122. The highway is signed as south-north.

Route 122 begins in Blackstone and passes through Millville, Uxbridge, Northbridge, Grafton, Millbury, Worcester, Paxton, Rutland, Oakham, Barre, Petersham, New Salem, and ends in Orange. Route 122 runs parallel to Route 146 from the Rhode Island border to Worcester, and follows closely to the Blackstone River from the state line to the southern junction with Route 122A in Grafton. In Petersham, Route 122 has a wrong-way concurrency with the northern end of Route 32A for a short distance.

To celebrate Route 122 North becoming a State Scenic Byway, in October and November 2007, BJ Hill walked the 40-mile (64 km) corridor, beginning in downtown Orange and ending at Worcester State College. Along the way, he filmed the route, step by step, with a shoulder-mounted bullet cam. The video and photos can be seen at his website, www.route122.com.
