Rudkøbing is a town on the island of Langeland in Denmark with a population of 4,697 (1 January 2011)[1] belonging to Langeland municipality (formerly Rudkøbing municipality).

The physicist and chemist Hans Christian Ørsted was born in Rudkøbing.

The actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, famous by his role as Jaime Lannister in the HBO series Game of Thrones, was born in Rudkøbing.
