Rulon Davis (born June 16, 1983) is a former American football defensive end. He played college football at California. He has also been a member of the Denver Broncos.

High school career[edit]

Rulon Davis was born in San Diego, California. He was named after Rulon Jones - who played with the Denver Broncos in the 1980s - by his father Lorenzo Davis, who was a San Diego Chargers fan who respected and admired Jones with the rival Broncos. He played at Charter Oak High School in Covina. While there his most playing experience was on the offensive line.

College career[edit]

After graduating high school at Charter Oak High School Davis joined the United States Marines for three years, serving in the Iraq War. He played for Mt. San Antonio College after he returned from Iraq, recording 16½ sacks as a freshman. Davis played defensive end at California, after transferring from Mount San Antonio College.

Professional career[edit]

Denver Broncos[edit]

Davis was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Denver Broncos on April 27, 2009 after the 2009 NFL Draft. On August 17, 2009, he was waived by the Broncos.

Jacksonville Jaguars[edit]

On December 22, 2009, he was signed to the Jaguars' practice squad. He was not re-signed following the 2009 season.
