Rural Municipality of Armstrong

Armstrong is a rural municipality in the province of Manitoba in Western Canada. It lies in the central area of the Interlake and was named after James William Armstrong, a Manitoba politician. It was originally a rural municipality, and then was disorganized. It then received local government district (LGD) status until it was reinstated as an R.M. in 1997.
