Ruthven is a railway station in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, located in the suburb of Reservoir, on the Epping railway line. Ruthven is unmanned and is located in Metcard Zone 2.

Ruthven is located between High Street and Macarthney Street, with station access from both.

The station consists of two platforms, in an island format, with a large fibre cement clad building at the Epping end of the station. A large Metcard ticket vending machine is located at the entrance of the station, which is able to dispense most ticketing options available and also accept notes and coins. An underpass is situated at the Epping end of the station.

Ruthven station opened on 5 August 1963, four years after electric suburban services had extended though the area to Epping.[1] The station was named after former State Member for Parliament William Ruthven.[2][3]
