Ryer Ord Star is a fictional character from Shannara, a series of fantasy novels by Terry Brooks.
Ryer Ord Star is a seer who was apprenticed to the Addershag. However, when Addershag learned of Ryer's healing abilities, she cast her out. Ryer Ord Star became a spy in Grimpen Ward for the Ilse Witch and when Walker Boh went to Parkasia to hunt for the ancient magics, the Ilse Witch told her to go along and spy on Walker Boh.
Ryer's loyalties change throughout the story, as she became close to Walker Boh and stopped spying on him and his accomplices. In the book, Ilse Witch, she used her healing abilities to save Walker's life.
After Walker's death, she was captured by the Morgawr, who used her to help him locate the survivors of the crew of the Jerle Shannara. However, Walker's shade appeared to her, and told her to lead the Morgawr astray. She helped Ahren Elessedil escape the Black Moclips and as a result, the Morgawr ordered her to be tortured by Mwellrets and then hung on the deck of the ship in the boiling heat until she died.
Just before she died, the shade of Walker Boh came to her again and brought her into death with him. This is the final time we see Walker in the series (The Voyage of the Jerle Shannara).
