"S.C.O.M. / Dolla / Get It / Spraypaint & Ink Pens" is a quadruple single by American hip hop act Fort Minor, created by Linkin Park co-lead vocalist Mike Shinoda, featured on the first and only mixtape Fort Minor: We Major. The single was released from the mixtape on May 26, 2006 in digital download. It is the first and the only single by Fort Minor for the mixtape.

S.C.O.M.[edit]

"S.C.O.M." is the first song included in the track listing of the single. Despite the fact that the song is featured on a Fort Minor release, the album cover credits the song to Ryu of Styles of Beyond., Juelz Santana, and Celph Titled, while the second song for the single "Dolla" is credited to Fort Minor (featuring Styles of Beyond).[1][2] The song features Celph Titled and Juelz Santana. Mike Shinoda is not featured in the single, but he provided the backing vocals on the chorus singing "Oh, ohh, ohhh, ohhhh...". The song is produced by Shinoda.

Dolla[edit]

"Dolla" is the second song featuring in the tracklist of the single. The song also serves as the third track for the mixtape. The song also serves as the third track for the Fort Minor Sampler Mixtape. The single was one of the few songs played by in the concerts by Fort Minor. Shinoda also played a verse of this song for the extended intro of "Points of Authority" during the tour of promotion of the album Minutes to Midnight with American rock band Linkin Park, just like they did with the single "Petrified". Those examples of those proportions of those songs are performed by Mike Shinoda himself, while using his Fort Minor experience, and they can both be seen in the "Unlockable Content" menu for Linkin Park's second live album Road to Revolution: Live at Milton Keynes. The credits for the song is given to Fort Minor and Styles of Beyond, and it is produced by Mike Shinoda.

Get It[edit]

"Get It" is the third song included in the single. It features as the tenth track for the mixtape "We Major". Get it features vocals of the chorus of the song "Be Somebody" which is included in the same mixtape after this song, and is also included in the The Rising Tied. The credits of the single is given to Styles of Beyond. Fort Minor was not included in the cover credits for this song, similar to "S.C.O.M.". It also serves at the fourth track for the Fort Minor Sampler Mixtape. The song is produced by Scoop DeVille.

Spraypaint & Ink Pens[edit]

"Spraypaint & Ink Pens" is the fourth and the last song in the track list for the single itself. It features as the eighth track of the mixtape. The cover credits of the song is given to Ghostface Killah, Mike Shinoda and Lupe Fiasco. The song is produced by Shinoda.

Samples[edit]

S.C.O.M.[edit]

The song samples the famous guitar riff of "Sweet Child o' Mine", a song by hard rock band Guns N' Roses.[3]

Dolla[edit]

The song samples the guitar, bass and drum recordings of "The Ocean", a song by English rock band Led Zeppelin.[3] The song also samples a quote from the 2002 film, Gangs of New York.[3] The single version does not include the quote from the film.

Get It[edit]

The song samples "Be Somebody" by Fort Minor (featuring Holly Brook & Lupe Fiasco) at the end of the song,[3] which is included in the same mixtape and also serves as a bonus track in the album The Rising Tied. The single version does not include the sample of "Be Somebody" by Fort Minor.

Spraypaint & Ink Pens[edit]

The song samples the soundtrack from the 1983 hip hop film, Wild Style.
