The New Saab 92 is a car that will be added to Saab's production line by 2014[1], under its new ownership, Spyker Cars, to compete in the growing small car segment.[2]
The car is not included in Spyker's business plan for Saab but both Saab's Chairman and CEO have stated that it is a top priority and is expected to be released in 2014. This car would be a joint venture with another automaker, probably European. Although little is known about the design at this time those who have seen it report it is the same teardrop shape as the 1949–1956 Saab 92, but also futuristic with the front similar to the new Saab 9-5.[3]
