S P Jain School of Global Management (S P Jain) is a global business school, with campuses in Dubai (started in 2004) and Singapore (started in 2006). A new campus is under construction in Sydney, Australia, and will become functional in 2012. [1] S P Jain has its roots in its sister institute SPJIMR, which was established in Mumbai, India in 1981.
Globally, S P Jain is associated with the Australian School of Business, University Of New South Wales, Sydney (Australia) which has been ranked 36 in the Financial Times World Rankings and the Schulich School of Business, York University, Toronto (Canada) which is ranked first in Canada by the Economist, Wall Street Journal and Forbes and 15 globally by the Economist. In the 2000s, the India-based S P Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR) decided to establish a campus abroad, resulting in the foundation of the S P Jain Center of Management (SPJCM) in Dubai's Knowledge Village.[3] SPJCM was established as an independent institution which maintains academic collaboration with SPJIMR. The "S P Jain" in the names of these institutions refers to Shriyans Prasad Jain.
In 2012, the name was changed to S P Jain School of Global Management.

S P Jain is accredited by the Department of Education and Training, New South Wales, Australia: S P Jain is thus registered as a Higher Education Institution in Australia. Students receive an Australian degree when they graduate. [4] It is also accredited by the UK-based Association of MBAs (AMBA).

S P Jain's Academic Board is chaired by Dr. Peter Drake, Professor Emeritus of the University of New England and the Australian Catholic University, and founding Vice-Chancellor of the Australian Catholic University. S P Jain aims to create a learning environment that focuses on developing students with impressive personalities and high degree of global awareness. The Programs offered are:
[edit] GBBA (Global Bachelor of Business Administration)
In this four-year undergraduate program, students study for the first year at S P Jain's Singapore campus, followed by a year at the Dubai campus and two years at the Sydney campus. [12]
[edit] MGB (Master of Global Business)
This is a 16 months program, which includes four months internship. Students with 0-3 years of work-experience are eligible to apply. Students spend 6 months each at S P Jain's campuses in Dubai and Singapore, specializing in Finance, Marketing or Logistics.
[edit] GMBA (Global Master of Business Administration)
This is a one-year full-time residential MBA Program, for applicants with 3+ years of work experience. Students study for six months each at S P Jain's Dubai and Singapore campuses, selecting a specialization in Marketing, Finance, Logistics, Information Technology, Business Consulting or HR. [13]
[edit] EMBA (Executive Master of Business Administration)
A part-time program, the EMBA is designed for working professionals. It is conducted at the Dubai and Singapore campuses, and offers specializations in Finance, Marketing and Operations. [14]

S P Jain has set up Centers for Executive Education, Centers for Leadership and Centers for Human Resources in Dubai and Singapore catering to senior executives. The short, modular courses are usually two days long, and are customized to the needs and requirements of each client. [15]

[edit] Dubai campus
S P Jain's Dubai campus was established in 2004. It is located at the Dubai International Academic City (DIAC), which houses 20 universities and colleges from ten countries.

On invitation of the government of Singapore in 2005, S P Jain set up its Singapore campus, which saw the first batch of students in 2006. The campus is located close to downtown Singapore.
