[edit] Early life

Hailing from a Sikh army background. Her father initially wanted her to become an engineer but when she got the offers from Bollywood he supported her. She has a sister, model Jesse Randhawa.[3]

[edit] Career

Saadhika made her entry into the glamour world when she won the Jaipur Queen's Crown in 1993. It was here that Saawan Kumar noticed and signed her for Salma Pe Dil Aa Gaya. After that she went on to star in the film Shikar, and performed an item number in the film Satta. Soon the actress was exploring offers from the industry down South.

Saadhika feels that her greatest mistake was moving down South because she was written-off from Bollywood. She says that she lost out on some good offers in Bollywood because of her inability to manage things, but now she wants to concentrate only on Bollywood.[4]

Saadhika is ready to work in all kinds of languages. But she wants to do some big banner films because that's perhaps the right way to reach out to large audiences. Besides doing several stage shows, Saadhika has also worked in Daler Mehndi's music album Nabi Buba Nabi.

After 11 years in the film industry Saadhika played her second innings in Bollywood, from "Ananth" opposite "Krishna" (Govinda's nephew), Raj Sippy's "Khujali" to "Aye Watan".[5]

She is also sizzling the screen in Bhojpuri cinema. Her films Pyar Ke Bandhan and Purab with Manoj Tiwari are hits and now her next few films Pandav opposite Ravi Kissen, and Abhay Sinha’s Janam Janam Ka Saath with both Ravi Kissen and Manoj Tiwari, will be ready for release soon.[6]
