Saaxil (Sahel) is a region (gobolka) in Somaliland, a de facto independent republic which is recognized as a part of Somalia. Its capital is Berbera. It is bordered by the Gulf of Aden and the Somali regions of Woqooyi Galbeed, Sanaag, Togdheer and Awdal.
