The Sabari Express is an express train operated by South Central Railway zone of the Indian Railways. The train connects Hyderabad, capital city of Andhrapradesh state to Thiruvananthapuram Central capital city of Kerala state.The train covers the distance of 1568 km in 30 hours, 25 minutes.

About the name of the Train[edit]

The train is named after famous Hindu pilgrimage site Sabarimala.[1] I

Engine used[edit]

It is hauled by Krishnarajapuram (KJM) WDP-4 from Hyderabad up to Guntur and Erode (ED) WAP-4 locomotive from Guntur to Trivandrum.

Timings[edit]

The train No:17229[2] starts from Trivandrum Central at 07:15 hours and reaches Hyderabad at 13:40 hours the next day. In the return direction it leaves No:17230[3] Hyderabad at 12:00 hours and reaches Trivandrum at 18:55 hours the next day.
