Sacred Heart High School is a private college preparatory high school of Roman Catholic denomination in Kingston, Massachusetts. It is located in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston. The school is operated by the Sisters of Divine Providence and has been educating students in grades 7-12 since its establishment in 1953. Masses are held monthly and on special occasions in either the school auditorium or in the school chapel.

An elementary school, a pre-primary (kindergarten), a summer camp, and the Provincial Residence are also located on the extensive campus. Sacred Heart has won numerous regional and national recognitions for visual and performing arts. The school paper, The Heart Beat, has also achieved regional and international recognition.

  • Navy Commander Timothy Cooper, a member of the Sacred Heart High School Class of 1988, assumed the command of the U.S. S. Constitution during official ceremonies on July 24th at the Charlestown Naval Shipyard. Cooper's 2-year assignment as the 71st Commander of the U.S.S. Constitution, places him at the helm of the country’s oldest commissioned war ship still afloat Following his graduation from Sacred Heart, Cooper attended the Massachusetts Maritime Academy (MMA.) He then furthered his studies at the U.S. Naval War College in Newport where he earned a masters degree in national security affairs and strategic studies.
