Saint Elizabeth College is a private liberal arts institution of higher education based in Youngstown, Ohio. The institution of higher learning is a co-educational residential learning environment offering both associate and baccalaureate degrees. Additionally, students are able to transfer prior coursework to other four-year colleges and universities.

Saint Elizabeth College is a Catholic private college that serves approximately 3500 students and offers over 30 undergraduate programs. The college emphasizes community service integration and experiential learning. Students are required to complete a minimum number of service learning and community service hours. Additionally, students are required to complete an internship consisting of 150 hours of learning. The college offers programs in administration of justice, art, biology, business management, chemistry, early childcare development, communications studies, computer and information science, English, humanities, mathematics education, music education, paralegal studies, social and behavioral sciences, human services, and world language studies.

History[edit]

The college began as a private Catholic business institute in 1899. During the 1960s the college grew significantly and fully transformed to a liberal arts institution.
