San Ildefonso, or La Granja, or La Granja de San Ildefonso, is a town and municipality in the province of Segovia, Spain, situated some 54 km northwest of Madrid.

In 1721-24 Next to this town, rose the splendid palace of La Granja, built for Philip V . It has been called "the Versailles of Spain". Around the palace, Philip V ordered the laying-out of a huge garden with fountains which was also inspired by Versailles. Thanks to it, the town an important tourist site in the province of Segovia.
On 12 August 1836 at La Granja, some of the Liberal leaders compelled Queen Christina to sign a decree restoring the Constitution of 1812.
