Rajinder Singh (Sant Mat)
Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj (born 20 September 1946) current head of Science of Spirituality and of the Sawan Kirpal Ruhani Mission, is internationally recognized for his work towards inner and outer peace.[citation needed] He was born in India and educated as a scientist in the United States.[citation needed]

He attended college at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, finished his studies there in 1967, and moved to the United States to get an M.S. at Illinois Institute of Technology.He retired from Bell Labs in 1989 when the spiritual teacher Sant Darshan Singh died. He assumed Darshan's spiritual duties and so became the new leader of what is now known as Science of Spirituality. Colombia's highest honor, the Golden Cross, (in 1992) is among the many Earthly awards the spiritual organization has been bestowed in his name.[1]
Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj's talks have been broadcast internationally on radio and television. His publications include books in many languages and hundreds of articles on spiritual topics. His latest books, Inner and Outer Peace through Meditation (with a foreword by the 14th Dalai Lama) and Empowering Your Soul Through Meditation were recently re-released by M/s Element Books.[2]
His message of unity, peace, and love for all human beings has been acclaimed by enlightened leaders around the globe. Recognizing the transcendent oneness at the heart of all religions, he emphasizes prayer and meditation as the true building blocks for achieving peace.
