Coordinates: 33°47′45″N 117°47′52″W / 33.7957°N 117.7977°W Santiago Charter Middle School is located in Orange County, California, the United States. It was the first charter school in Orange County. Santiago Charter Middle School was a California Distinguished School in 1994 and 1999.
Each student who goes here has the benefits of seven/eight periods, including prime time. Students can choose two different electives, or, as one of their electives choose to be in choir or band/strings. When students are in seventh grade, they have the ability to be put in a discovery wheel and a language wheel if they choose. For languages, there are three: German, French, and Spanish. In eighth grade, you choose one of those languages and are in it throughout the entire year. Students at this school must follow a uniform policy.
