Santo António (Portuguese for "Saint Anthony") is a parish in the district of Ponta Delgada in the Azores. The population in 2001 was 2,004, its density is 170.8/km² and the area is 11.73 km². It is located in the northwestern part of the island of São Miguel and connected by roads to Mosteiros and Ribeira Grande. The main industry is agriculture; farmlands dominate the north and east while the mountainous and laurisilva forests cover the rest of Santo António to the west and southwest.
