Sanyati is a former native purchase area in the province of Mashonaland West, Zimbabwe. Sanyati is a communal area widely known in Zimbabwe for cotton farming. It is located about 92 km north-west of Kadoma on the Sanyati River. It is the location of Sanyati Baptist Mission, which comprises Sanyati Baptist Hospital, Sanyati Baptist High School, and Sanyati Baptist Primary School.
The maingrowth point, populraly known as ARDA, Kwane or Mukwada has got a hive of activities ranging from welding, carpentry and farming.
Sanyati, in the Jese area under chief Hozhele is the home village for the Late Alice Msimanga(Mkwakwa) who is the mother of the founder/executive director of Freestigma Africa Trust ( an NGO which operates in Southern Region of Africa ), Sir Frera Washington.
