Wine[edit]

Savigny-lès-Beaune is one of the wine communes of the Côte de Beaune. It is a picturesque village of some architectural interest, including several châteaux, a Romanesque clock tower and a charming church (St.-Cassien). The main château (pictured) dates from the fourteenth century and it houses a museum (aviation, automotive) that has little to do with its wine producing activities.
