Schoinoussa (Greek: Σχοινούσσα, pronounced [sçiˈnusa]) is an island and a former community in the Cyclades, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Naxos and Lesser Cyclades, of which it is a municipal unit.[1] It lies south of the island of Naxos, in the Small Cyclades group, between the island communities of Irakleia and Koufonisia. The population was 206 inhabitants at the 2001 census. Its land area is 8.512 km².
