School of Pure and Applied Physics (SPAP) is the Department of Physics of Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. The faculty and students of this institute carry out research on Cosmology, String Theory, Astrophysics, Thin Films, Sol-gel, Biophysics, Nanotechnology etc.
