The School of St. Mary is a Roman Catholic parish school. It has two campuses, both in Lake Forest, Illinois, in the Archdiocese of Chicago. As of 2007, it has over 600 students.[2]

The School of St. Mary was founded in 1917 by the Church of St. Mary in Lake Forest, Illinois. The pastor at the time was Father Francis J. Barry.[citation needed] The school began with one hundred twenty-five students in a small building, which is still standing and holding classes. An addition was built in 1958. Famous Alumni include actor David Pasquesi, Notre Dame quarterback Tommy Rees, Notre Dame Defensive Backs Chris and Will Salvi, and several other legends, both on and off the gridiron.[citation needed]
