Scoopler is a real-time search engine. Scoopler was created by AJ Asver and Dilan Jayawardane, and launched in Private Beta in April 2009.[1]. Scoopler gets its results real-time from a variety of services such as Twitter, Digg, Flickr and others. Scoopler is funded by Y Combinator.[2]. Scoopler's result page is divided into three columns. The middle column shows the actual results of the users query, this column updates in real-time. The items here are only around 20 minutes old. The left most column shows the users recent searches and hot topics. The right column shows popular results. Most of the results from Scoopler are from Twitter at any given time, however, searching for less popular search terms return results from other sources.

Scoopler is no longer running as the developers have been contracted to work on Google+.
