- Ulster Scots people, an ethnic group in the Ulster province of Ireland which ultimately traces its roots back to settlers from Scotland and northern England.
- Scotch-Irish Americans, descendents of Ulster Scots who first migrated to North America in large numbers beginning in the early 18th century.
