The Scottish Junior Football East Region South Division is a third-tier division of the East Region of the Scottish Junior Football Association.

The league came into existence in time for the 2006–07 season, replacing the older regional setup (see here).

Newtongrange Star won the 2006–07 championship and were promoted to the Premier League. No team from the Premier League has replaced Newtongrange (due to geographical reasons)

Fauldhouse United won the 2007–08 championship and were promoted to the Premier League. They will be replaced by Armadale Thistle.

Armadale Thistle won the 2008–09 championship and were promoted to the Premier League. None of the Premier Division teams relegated in this season will replace Armadale (due to geography). However, a bid by Spartans FC to admit their second XI into the Scottish Junior Football Association was accepted at AGM and this team will be a member of the South Division for season 2009–10.

Broxburn Athletic won the 2009–10 championship and were promoted to the Premier League. They will be replaced by Fauldhouse United who were among the three teams relegated from the Premier League.

Sauchie won the 2010–11 championship and were promoted to the Premier League. They will be replaced by Whitburn who were among the three teams relegated from the Premier League. A bid by Falkirk Juniors, a newly formed team playing out of Grangemouth Stadium, for membership of the Scottish Junior Football Association was accepted at AGM and this team will be a member of the South Division for season 2011–12.
