Screamin' Scott Simon (b. 1948 Kansas City, Missouri) has been Sha Na Na's piano-player since April 1970. He graduated Columbia University with a B.A. in that same year. He has written numerous songs that have been recorded by the band and others over the years. For the film version of Grease he and Louis St. Louis collaborated on the song "SANDY" performed by John Travolta. The song is included in the score of the current Broadway production of the show.
