The Sea of Claws is a minor part of the Warhammer fictional world. It is roughly equivalent to the real world Baltic Sea. The Sea is mentioned in the many of the settings sourcebooks and maps. Its name comes from its abundance of sea creatures.
On the shores of Sea of Claws are Empire, Kislev, Bretonnia, Norsca and also the great city of Marienburg. On the shores of sea is located Norsca city of Olricstaad.
[edit] Dangers On The Sea
Its name comes from its abundance of sea creatures. The numbers, deadliness, and mutations of these creatures increase the further north you go towards the Chaos Wastes. Sea-borne creatures are not the only dangerous hazards on the sea, Norse reavers sail there and practice piracy. There are other pirates also and then there are natural hazards, like many storms.
Whales and sharks live in the sea.
