Sicherheit und Frieden (English: Security and Peace) is a quarterly German academic journal focusing on peace research and security policy publishing articles in German and English. Since 2004 the journal also publishes peer-reviewed articles. Editor in chief is currently Michael Brzoska (Institute for Peace Research and Security Policy, University of Hamburg).

The journal aims to serve as a forum linking civil society and the armed forces in the areas of science and politics. It publishes research analysis, insider reports and opinion pieces. It addresses issues such as security policy and peace research from scientific aspects of arms control to questions of nation building in post-war societies.
