Semen Padang FC is an Indonesian professional football club, based in Indarung, Padang, Indonesia, that plays in the Indonesian Premier League. Was established on 30 November 1980.

Semen Padang FC is a football club owned by PT Semen Padang, which is the oldest cement companies in Indonesia. This football club based in Indarung, Padang, West Sumatra. This team is called Kabau Sirah. The team is also funded by PT Semen Padang.

Before the creation of Liga Indonesia, as a professional club owned by a company, they competed at Galatama. Their best finish was winning the Piala Liga Indonesia on 1994, by a vital goal by Delvi Adri, thus qualified them for their only appearances at regional level, the 1993-94 Asian Cup Winners Cup, which they competed until the quarterfinal.

Beginning of 2010-11 season, the team was managed by their former legend, Nil Maizar.

Semen Padang FC currently have Haji Agus Salim Stadium, which has about 28.000 seats. This stadium was named Haji Agus Salim, an intellectual and a national hero from the local Muslim Minangkabau.

Supporters of this club formerly called Urang Awak (Our Man). But since 1999, this club has fanatical supporters called The Kmer's and since 2010, Semen Padang has new supporters called Spartacks (Supporter Padang Dan Anak Rantau Cinta Kabau Sirah literally Padang Supporter and Outsiders Loving Kabau Sirah) and Uni Spartacks (for woman supporters), who always competed for support for the team.

Semen Padang FC have a very tough competitor in the league, PSPS Pekanbaru Since the beginning of the Liga Indonesia. Their meeting usually called Old Indonesia Derby. This game is also often called the Sumatra Derby.
