[edit] Plot summary

In the season premiere episode, a controversial and self-destructive radio deejay is found dead of asphyxiation. Detectives Goren and Eames first suspect suicide, but they turn their attention to an obsessed fan when they learn that the dead man was issued placebos instead of his antidepressant medications. Their investigation broadens when another related victim is murdered, but the key to an arrest hinges on both how and why the passive-aggressive murderer chose to act.
