[edit] History

Semiahmoo Point Lighthouse was built near Blaine, Washington, close to the Canadian border, in 1905. The light station consisted of a 1 12-story dwelling built on a platform supported by wooden piles.[2] It was deactivated in 1944.[3] Its design by Carl Leick was identical to Desdemona Sands Light.[4]
