Sgript Cymru is a Welsh theatre company that specialises in new writing in Welsh or English by Welsh and Wales-based playwrights.
The company was created in 2000 and is based in the Chapter Arts Centre in Cardiff. It receives its main funding from The Arts Council of Wales, and its raison d’être is to be the national and strategic organisation for new stage writing in both Welsh and English.
