Sha Ra is an actor known for acting in Meesaya Murukku and Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuththu.[1] He is the co-founder of the YouTube channel Temple Monkeys,[2] one of the oldest Tamil-language YouTube channels, along with Vijay Varadharaj.[3][4][5]
Career
In 2012, Sha Ra and his mate started the YouTube channel the temple monkeys as a co-founder later they released a rap song known as Anbe En Pushpa same time the Sam Anderson's Yaarukku Yararo movie song went viral is called Raasathi later sha ra and Vijay Varadaraj try the kalaka povathu yaru in Vijay tv and they prepared concept as Ramu anney and somu anney but some reasons they don't accept the concept and they can't able to store the footage so finally they used the YouTube platform as like a harddisk now also the deleted tapes of temple monkeys are in YouTube and they decided to create an official YouTube channel is called temple monkey tv and sha ra got his first chance in Maanagaram before Meesaya Murukku later that same year and he got a supporting role in Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuththu. Think Menon of The Times of India wrote that "Shah Ra’s comic timing works to a good extent and finally he best appreciation in Comali movie it was directed by Pradeep Ranganathan. In 2022 he got his first serious role in the K10 web series. K10 was directed by Vijay Varadharaj.
