Shabbatai

Shabbatai or Sabbatai is a Jewish name common in the Middle Ages for boy born on Shabbat. Some notable people named Shabbatai include:
- Sabbatai Zevi (July 22, 1626–September 30, 1676) - a man who proclaimed himself the Messiah, gaining many adherents, until his conversion to Islam
- Shabbatai ha-Kohen (1621-1662), often referred to as the "Shakh", was a noted 17th Century talmudist and halakhist.
