Shahid (actor)

Shahid Hameed (born 24 July 1950, Lahore, Pakistan), known as Shahid, is a Pakistani film actor who starred in many films of the 1970s and 1980s. His first film was Aansoo, released in 1971. Shahid worked in more than 150 films.[1] Shahid's last film ZOR was released in 1998.

Shahid entered in the film industry in 1970. He received his initial training from producer and director Abbas Nosha Sahib, who produced Shahid's second movie Aik Raat. Later Shahid teamed up with the Pakistani director Hasan Tariq, with whom he did most of his hit movies. In later years, he also acted in television serials.

Shahid is married to Munaza Shahid. They have three sons, Kamran, Imran and Zaheer and one daughter Rabeya. His son Kamran hosts a show on the Express News channel called Frontline with Kamran Shahid.
