Shahriyar (Persian: شهریار‎), also spelled as Shariyar, Shahryar, Shahryār, Shahriār, Sheharyar, Shaheryar or Shehiryar means 'Great King' (from the Persian words Shah and Zyad - High King). In its Urdu transliteration, it is mistakenly attributed as City Friend, from the Urdu composition of the name (Shahr - city and yar - friend). It may refer to:
