Shailesh Rao

Shailesh Rao, Managing Director, Google India, at the World Economic Forum's India Economic Summit 2008, New Delhi.
Shailesh Rao is the Managing Director of Google India, at Gurgaon, near Delhi.[1][2] Prior to this, he was a Director of local search for Google at its Mountainview headquarters [3] and Vice-President of Products at Yodlee before that.
Shailesh was born to Nagaraj and Rama on 25 November 1971 in Toronto, Canada.[4]

Shailesh has a BA from the University of Pennsylvania with Honors, a BS from the Wharton School with a concentration in finance, and an MBA from The Kellogg School of Management in 1999 and eventually joined Google in 2005.[5] Prior to enrolling at Wharton, he worked for a firm named Strategic Planning Associates for four years.[4]
