Shalatula

Coordinates: 33°54′N 72°14′E / 33.9°N 72.233°E Shalatula is a town near the Indus river in Punjab province, Pakistan. It is close to the city of Attock as well as being in the vicinity of Peshawar. The famous ancient Indian grammarian Pāṇini was born in Shalatula, as well as his brother, the mathematician Pingala.
