Shane Glines

Shane Glines is an illustrator, animator, and character designer. He is the founder of CartoonRetro and currently serves as its president.

Glines has done work for several well known series. He worked as a layout and cleanup artist for Spümcø, before graduating to Warner Bros., where he was a character designer for DC Comics based series, such as Batman: The Animated Series and Batman Beyond. He is also known for his character design work on Cartoon Network's Samurai Jack.

Glines has illustrated several covers for the comic, Gotham Girls, and his stylised technique has been compared to those of Lynne Naylor and Bruce Timm.^{[citation needed]}
