Shawnee High School (fully, Shawnee High School Magnet Career Academy [MCA]), is a high school in the Jefferson County Public School District in Louisville, Kentucky. The school building was constructed in 1927[1] and is on the National Register of Historic Places (reference number 84000277). The school itself had a listed enrollment of 717 students for the 2006-7 school year.[2] Dr. Mernia Hill resigned as the school's principal in June 2008.
