Shih Wing-ching

This is a Chinese name; the family name is Shih.

Shih Wing-ching (Chinese: 施永青; pinyin: Shī Yǒngqīng; Yale: Shih1 Wing5 Ching1; born March 17, 1949 in Shanghai), whose ancestral hometown is Ningbo, Zhejiang. He came to Hong Kong at an early age and began his business in the property industry. Centaline Property Agency Limited was established in 1978 and throughout the years it has expanded tremendously. It is now one of the biggest property agency both in Hong Kong and China.^{[citation needed]}

Mr. Shih is also an active philanthropist.^{[citation needed]} He is a well-known face in charity, often actively participating and contributing in non-governmental organizations.^{[citation needed]} He is also the Chairman of the Board of Governors of Hong Kong Sinfonietta, a Council Member of Oxfam Hong Kong, and a Member of the Housing Authority, Commercial Properties Committee and the Subsidized Housing Committee of the Authority.^{[citation needed]}
