This is a list of active ships of the Brazilian Navy, complete and correct as of 2012.
The Navy has approximately 106 ships in commission, including 38 auxiliary vessels. 9 of the commissioned vessels are frigates of British origin, 1 is an aircraft carrier of French origin and 5 are conventional attack submarines of German origin.

It is possible that four Arleigh Burke class destroyer and two Harpers Ferry class dock landing ships will be commissioned in the Brazilian Navy because the US navy has offered them.
