Shoreline Park, a long, narrow ocean-side strip of land, is located in Santa Barbara, California, USA. Facing the Pacific Ocean, Shoreline Park is one of Santa Barbara's most popular parks[1].
The park includes a playground, a whale watching area situated next to a statue of a large bronze whale tail[2], as well as a sister city Japanese garden. The park also provides a clear view of the Channel Islands on a good day.
The wooden steps leading down to the beach are accessible only during low tide. Mesa Beach, which Shoreline Park overlooks, is completely submerged during high tide[3].
