The Short-tailed Lark (Pseudalaemon fremantlii) is a species of lark in the Alaudidae family. It is monotypic within the genus Pseudalaemon.[citation needed] It is found in Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, and Tanzania.

Its natural habitats are dry savanna, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, and subtropical or tropical dry lowland grassland.
