Shrek the Musical is a musical with music by Jeanine Tesori and book and lyrics by David Lindsay-Abaire. It is based on the 2001 DreamWorks film and the book by William Steig. Below are the actors, cast lists and replacements for all major English-speaking productions of the musical, directed by Jason Moore and Rob Ashford. The design, music & lyrics and choreography (by Josh Prince), among other elements, differ from production to production. For more information on the show see Shrek the Musical.

There have been five major English-speaking productions to date and they are listed below in order of opening night performance. All are produced by DreamWorks Theatricals and Neal Street Productions, with the exception of the first and second Non-Equity US tours, which are produced under the NETworks banner.

The Broadway production was filmed in 2009, and will be released to DVD and Blu-ray October 15, 2013.[1]
