Shweta Bachchan-Nanda (born March 17, 1974) is the daughter of Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan and sister to Abhishek Bachchan. Her sister-in-law is former Miss World and Bollywood actress, Aishwarya Rai.

She is married to industrialist Nikhil Nanda, the son of Ritu Nanda (Rita Kapoor-Nanda), daughter of film legend Raj Kapoor, and Rajan Nanda. She married in February 16, 1996 at Prateeksha, her parents' home. She now resides in Delhi with her husband. They have two children, Navya Naveli (born in 1997) and Agastya Nanda.

She was a citizen journalist with the Indian News Channel CNN IBN.[1].
Bachchan-Nanda hosted NextGen in 2007, a series of interview shows aired on the television network NDTV Profit.[2]
Shweta Bachchan-Nanda made an appearance with Jaya Bachchan on an episode of Koffee with Karan in April 2007 along with Hema Malini and her daughter, Esha Deol.
Shweta modeled for the first time in the September 2006 issue of L'Officiel India. She is seen again in June 2009 for L'Officiel India's 7th anniversary with her brother, Abhishek Bachchan.

In 2005, Bachchan-Nanda walked the ramp[clarification needed (meaning unclear)] with her parents and her brother for AIDS awareness.[citation needed]
